St. Joseph the Worker Parish is a large vibrant Catholic parish located in Orefield, Pennsylvania in the Diocese of Allentown. We are incredibly blessed by the Lord to have an adoration chapel that seats about 20 people. We are doubly blessed because we are outgrowing the present chapel! We currently have adoration of our Lord Jesus daily from 8:30 AM after morning Mass to 7:00 PM most nights of the week and 24 hour adoration on First Fridays of every month. During Lent, we had expanded hours of Eucharistic adoration and the turnout was very encouraging.
Monsignor Robert Wargo, our pastor, has felt led to expand the chapel by adding an annex that will accommodate 100 hundred more worshipers and also double as overflow for when Sunday Mass is filled! Once the adoration chapel is complete, we will have daily Mass in the new adoration chapel, which will also save resources by not having to heat and air-condition the large sanctuary on a daily basis as we do now. Bracy Contracting which has already designed and built the school and gymnasium additions for St. Joseph will be managing this project.Come join us as we learn more about Eucharistic Adoration and how you can participate in this new project at Saint Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.
